Licensed Practitioners: Become a National Acuvist™ Trainer

Licensed Acupuncturists from all over the country are invited to take a larger role in AcuCongress federal advocacy training programs, leadership and event staff opportunities. We have a local (DelMarVa) crew for Acupuncture On The Hill and are always looking for practitioners to join us in delivering acupuncture to members of Congress, their staff, and all federal employees on Capitol Hill.

We also welcome L.Acs from all over the country to step into Regional Team Leadership and take part in our AcuCongress committees to help provide support throughout Congressional sessions from prefiling activities such as writing legislative amendments, to staff and speaking roles for Congressional briefings, and regulatory comments through the Public Commentary Committee.

It's Never Too Early to Advocate for Your Profession!

Students of Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine are encouraged to step into roles of advocacy leadership. You are our future and all federal advocacy affects you long before you join the ranks of being licensed members of the profession.

AcuCongress wants to work with all students who have an interest in state or federal advocacy of the profession. We encourage students to take part in ALL available roles: from prefiling legislative drafting and regulatory public commentary, serving as National Acuvists™ in federal fly-ins, and as ambassadors of your profession serving as staff during Congressional briefings and Acupuncture On the Hill. If you are a student concerned about expansion of federal work prospects, student loan forgiveness programs, work in environments that receive federal funding such as hospitals (Medicare,) Indian Health Services, the VA, rural health clinics and other agencies dealing with vulnerable and underserved populations, or expansion of acupuncture services in home health delivery, disaster relief, behavioral health & preventive services, AcuCongress would like to train you to be a National Acuvist™ and leader of advocacy in the field.
